About Me
My name is Mike, I’m a designer from Stockport with over five years experience in the creative industry.
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2020 with a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Design. In my third year I completed a year in industry, working at Dawn Creative in Stockport for nine months as a design intern.
Since graduating I have worked at The Senator Group as an in-house designer, at F37 Studio & Foundry as a Junior Designer, and at Glorious Creative as a Designer, where I currently work.
In my time as a designer I have worked on a wide variety of brand identity, digital and editorial projects in sectors ranging from furniture design and property development, to healthcare technology and transport logistics.

Previous Experience
Glorious Creative
August 2022 — Present
I have spent over three years at Glorious Creative, where I have been developing my skills across a wide range of briefs. In my time here I have worked on projects from initiation to handover, as well as working alongside clients post rebrand, implementing their brand to maximum effect on a daily basis.
As I am part of a small team, I have taken on a lot of responsibility whilst working at Glorious Creative, not only working alongside the team working on briefs for current and new clients, but also being trusted to manage my own clients.
Whilst working for the agency, I have further developed my skills in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and After Effects. The projects I have worked on have also allowed me to develop my experience in preparing artwork for print, creating templates in other softwares e.g. Canva and Microsoft Office, and increasing my base level knowledge in other programmes such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Figma.
F37 Studio & Foundry
January 2022 — July 2022
As a designer at F37 I was tasked with working across both sides of the company, working on marketing communications for the type foundry side of the business, as well as working with the team on new briefs that come through the studio side of the business.
Throughout my time at F37 I worked on a range of typeface launches, discussing the new typeface with the type designers to understand their inspirations and how we could reflect this in the marketing for the typeface, creating visuals for social media and the F37 website.
The Senator Group
October 2020 — December 2021
The Senator Group are an industry-leading, independent furniture company specialising in office and workspace products. As a Junior Creative at The Senator Group, I worked on a variety of projects for the company including product launches, showroom design, internal communications and the planning of photography shoots.
Whilst at The Senator Group I worked effectively alongside the growing internal creative team as well as working with other internal departments at the company including engineering, product development and sustainability.
