Attic F.C.
Attic F.C was a self initiated project based upon my love of football and how I always seemed to have my bedroom located in an attic. Attic F.C was a conceptual football club based on the idea of different rooms within houses each playing each other in imaginary football matches.
I initially focused on just Attic F.C., designing their crest, match day posters and conceptual kits as a bit of fun, but the lockdown of 2020 brought a whole new meaning to this project, and with football matches being postponed and cancelled all over the globe, football fans had to find their weekend sporting fix in different places all without leaving the house. For me this came in the form of every room in the house having their own team and quickly the Home Premiership was born.
This project allowed me to have fun and explore one of my favourite genres of design, sporting identity. Along with each room having it’s own unique crest and kit, each team had their own room related sponsor. Inter Cellar are sponsored by Molise Wines, Garage Grove are sponsored by Safeway Lock Systems, and Bathroom Rovers are sponsored by Julien Ceramics.
This project allowed me to develop my conceptual thinking, copy writing, and most importantly, have lots of fun whilst designing.
