Sense of Place

During my time at Glorious Creative I worked alongside wine creatives, Sense of Place. Working on many briefs, I have visualised concepts for a wide variety of wine labels, developed new ranges, and finalised art packs for vineyards and bottlers across the world.

When developing a concept for a label, I look at combining processes such as foils, embossing and hi-build varnish, with paper stocks and Pantone references. These material design decisions, combined with visual cues from regional typography and image treatment, help to tell the story of the wine in the bottle, where it comes from, and how - most importantly - it tastes.

The labels shown here are just a selection of the many briefs I have worked on with Sense of Place.
